Schools can select a fully facilitated programme in the HealthTec. Alternatively teachers can use the equipment provided to facilitate their own activities.
The HealthTec offers students the opportunity to work in a high quality simulated health environment. With a range of health services professionals, we have a number of hands on innovative programmes, some of which will allow students to experience life as a patient, as an elderly person or as someone with specific needs. The HealthTec is equipped with an ambulance, patient simulator mannequins, old age suits, health measurement equipment and much more.
Guided by professionals, students can follow one of a number of programmes which makes their learning relevant and fun. All of our programmes are linked to the curriculum and provide the opportunity for students to engage in high quality experiences to enhance learning and coursework.
