Testimonials

County Durham and Darlington Community Health Services hold regular meetings at The Work Place. This is an excellent venue. The staff are friendly and always willing to help in whatever way they can to ensure that meetings run without a hitch. I have recommended The Work Place to colleagues both inside and outside of this organisation. — Glenda Lynn, County Durham and Darlington Community Health Services

As a regular customer to The Work Place, we are always satisfied with the service we receive. On first contact, there is an easy-to-follow booking process with friendly staff available to answer any queries.

The centre provides modern, clean and spacious meeting facilities with a variety of room setups offered to suit all requirements. The interactive whiteboards allow for professional presentation delivery and the cafeteria area offers the ideal space to have a break between sessions with space to work in.

The Street provides ample space to welcome delegates to meetings with room to display banners with a hospitality area offering really nice (but naughty) biscuits!

The catering provided was excellent, everyone was impressed with the quality and quantity of the food served. Also, thanks to the The Work Place staff who assisted in a very successful parents evening. The parents (and students) thought the building was fantastic and all left with a very positive impression of The Work Place and how it is used in their children’s education. — Elaine Kell, Health & Social Care Co-ordinator, Woodham Community Technology College
